Would you like Controlled Parking for Your Area?

For residents of: Bridge Road, Kenley Road, South Western Road, Brook Rood, Moormead Road, St Margarets Grove, Godstone Road, Sidney Road and Winchester Road ONLY

Thank you to everyone who wrote to us in response to the article in our last newsletter regarding parking. Comments received indicate that finding a convenient place to park is a disadvantage of life in St Margarets. In such circumstatces residents often press the Council to introduce a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) so that parking can be restricted to residents and their guests at certain times. The purpose of this letter, therefore, is to ascertain the views of residents in your road and neighboring roads so that if there isa strong wish for a CPZ your replies can beused to help press for your area to be made a priority.

Your replies to the following questions would be greatly appreciated — the greater the number of replies, the more wight that can be attached to our findings.

Should there be a desire for a CPZ, the Council will consult widely with residents before a final decision is made.
