First produced at the Orange Tree in the summer of 1975, The Lady or the Tiger packed the room above the pub and caused queues of 100s. It transferred into the West End and was revived at the Orange Tree in 1989.
The King of a semi-barbaric kingdom builds a new arena. He needs a big event to open with. When his search bears fruit it causes heartache for the beautiful princess.
The music and lyrics are written by the same team who wrote Wild Wild Women.
