Part fairy-tale, part moral fable, this less frequently performed Shakespeare play is a bran tub of theatrical delights. The complicated plot is loosely based on a historical pre-Roman British king, and mixes many ingredients together - Imogen, the feisty heroine, Iachimo a fiendish villain, and some of Shakespeare's loveliest poetry.
