Leading biographer Michael Holroyd will talk about his fascinating new study of two theatrical dynasties: those of the legendary Ellen Terry and Henry Irving. The actor and the actor-manager enjoyed a great stage partnership and they each influenced the lives of their remarkable children – especially Ellen’s son, the stage designer, Edward Gordon Craig.
