For Sanity's Sake : -Working Mums Networking Evening - OLD EVENT

Our Working Mums Networking event is an evening to help local working mums, those looking to return to work or those looking to start-up their own business get together to learn from each other's experiences and offer support as well as giving practical advice.

The evening was a huge hit when we ran it in February, with around 100 mums attending.

Doors open at 7.30pm and speakers will take to the stage around 8.15pm. Confirmed speakers are:

  • Elena Cimelli, Entrepreneur and Author of the recently launched 'The Contented Calf' cookery book. Elena will be conducting book signings on the evening and will be giving us an insight in to how to come up with new concepts and make them a business reality
  • Christine Conroy Christina Conroy OBE, Principal and Chief Executive of Richmond Adult Education College and founding member of Richmond Social Enterprise Partnership will talk about the support that exists for entrepreneurs in the Borough
  • Louise Nunn/Sara Guiel, The Mumpreneurs Networking Club will give us an insight into juggling kids and a home-run business, plus tips on networking

The Mumpreneurs Networking Club are our main sponsors for the evening. They will have a stall so you can chat to them about their Teddington meet-ups.

There will also be 12 businesses showcased as stalls including:

  • Beautiful jewelry from 'Stella and Dot'
  • Richmond Adult Education College and the Social Enterprise Partnership, who support start-ups
  • Contented Calf book signings
  • Windsor Pre-school, a chance to chat to their staff and hear more about the kindergarten
  • Fantastic, natural skin care and beauty products from Neal's Yard Organics
  • Helen Ray Bespoke Hairdressing, for luxury, in-home, personal hair styling
  • Performance Physiotherapy
  • Peel2Save, selling their brilliant new fundraising card. The card contains 64 peel off coupons. £10 each but with £300 of value.
  • Gymboree, St Margarets, will be giving you an overview of their fantastic facilities that cater for 0 - 5 year olds, promoting active play and healthy kids

There will also be a 'cosy corner' for those returning to work, where they can as questions of mums who've returned to the corporate world or started-up their own business to work around their children.

Rachel, co-founder of FSS, says, 'In February, the room was buzzing with excitement and energy with people feeling inspired by and connected to other mums in a similar position to themselves. There has been huge demand for us to run it again and we are excited to run it as part of Global Entrepreneurs Week'.

Tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased at www.forsanityssake.com/events/fss-working-mums-networking-event
