Built in the 17th century the interior remains relatively untouched with lots of wood and open fires. Directly outside the pub there's a small veranda, while directly opposite there is a larger beer garden right on the water with spectacular views of the river and Eel Pie Island. Venture here in the summer months and combine your trip with a walk along the river or a visit to nearby Marble Hill House. Winter months will find you cosied up by the fire inside the small L-shaped bar.
