North St Margarets Resident's Association
-Fun Day 2005- OLD EVENT
A fun day out for all St Margarets Residents!
Events will be:
- 11.00-12.00 -- Beating the Bounds
Children's (under 12s) Beating the Bounds is an ancient ceremony to mark out the boundaries of each local area. This year's event will follow last year's successful formula with all under 11s invited to take part in fancy dress (prize for the best costume). We'll meet outside the entrance to the allotments by the Northcote Road Bridge from where we'll visit our boundaries, beating the markers with willow canes and accompanied by music and song. Juice and biscuits will be served at the end.
Register now to guarantee your place. Call Amanda Day on 8892 5211 - 2.00-5.00 -- 3rd Grand Annual Street Sale
Clear out your sheds, attics and garages and join on popular street sale. Set up your stall outside your house, stock it with bric-a-brac, food, toys, etc and see what you can sell. It's only £1 to take part which we'll collect on the day and all your takings are yours to keep.
Register in advance and we'll put your stall on our Street Sale map which will be displayed around the area. Residents in St Margarets Road will be able to set up stall in specially designated areas in the "central" area.
Register in advance to appear on our map and attract more buyers.
