Missing person: Alice Gross

Please help look for Alice Gross, age 14, from Hanwell. She was last heard from at 3.00pm 28 August 2014, and doesn’t have her Oyster card, keys or card. Her phone is off and she hasn’t been with her friends that we are aware of. She is very vulnerable and we are all really worried about her. She’s wearing blue jeans and a dark green knitted cardigan.

In their Footsteps: Richmond's First World War - Orleans House Gallery

This exhibition, created by young people, launches the borough’s four-year commemoration of the First World War Centenary.

The exhibition focuses on the First World War heritage of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Working with photographer Othello De Souza Hartley and designer Jasleen Kaur, young people have explored the stories and histories through people and places and the impact of the War in the locality. These stories have been brought to life through objects, artworks, creative writing and photographic recreations of narrative events.

An exciting opportunity we have for young people between 16-24 living local to Richmond Park who have an interest and would like to learn about film making.

This summer, Groundwork London is partnering with The Royal Parks, working with young creatives to produce a film about the Isabella Plantation, a woodland garden, full of exotic plants within Richmond Park.

Isleworth Promenade: Do You Like the Change?

At the request of local residents, Richmond Council’s Community Links Team organised two conservation volunteer work days with local residents and Councillors along Isleworth Promenade on Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd managed by the Thames Landscape Strategy and South West London Environment Network. We would like to thank all the volunteers who participated and the passers-by who stopped to offer moral support as well as the Council’s parks contractor Continental Landscapes who August. These conservation volunteer work days were removed all the cut material.
