Orange Tree Theatre's 40th Birthday Garden Tea Party
Continuing the Orange Tree Theatre’s 40th birthday celebrations, this extra-special Garden Tea Party presents a rare opportunity to enjoy tea, cake, BBQ and Pimm’s and a selection of local stalls in the sumptuous grounds of Grade I-listed Trumpeters’ House, situated between the River Thames and Richmond Green on the historic site previously occupied by Richmond Palace.
This annual event raises funds for the Orange Tree’s renowned Community and Education programme, whilst providing the ideal opportunity to browse stalls selling everything from bath products to romantic dresses, to olive oils and silver jewellery.
Watch Orange Tree Theatre actors perform scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and listen to live music and local choirs.
Children are encouraged to come dressed as fairies and goblins and all guests are invited to enter the cake competition judged at 3pm on the afternoon (entries must arrive by 2.30pm).
Kindly supported by The Richmond Magazine, Hamptons International, A Cena, A Cena On the Hill and The Village Butcher, this is the perfect way to while away a lazy summer Sunday afternoon for a good cause.
