Richmond Arts Service and Film London are delighted to announce the return of the 90 second film competition!

Your chance to tell a short story about London

Following the success of the 90 Second Film Competition in 2010, we are delighted to announce the launch of this year’s competition in partnership with Film London.

The competition is open to all age groups and is designed to get budding filmmakers inspired about their city. Entrants do not need to have any experience and can shoot their film on anything from the latest HD camera to a mobile phone. Films must be shot in Richmond.

There are two categories for this year’s competition, under 16s and over 16s. The winner from each category will be awarded a cash prize of £250. An overall winner will be decided and will then go on to compete in the Best of Film London in 90 Seconds: Capital Tales.

This is your chance to tell a story about London. Films can be based on true stories, your own tales or you can let your imagination run riot!

Fiction, documentary, experimental, animation, comedy…you can shoot your film in any genre you like as long as it takes place in Richmond.

The deadline for applications is 31st March 2011.

Applicants must be resident in the borough of Richmond upon Thames.
